Esther turned her struggles with autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder into
now runs Bio Lash
Bio Lash has a mission that goes beyond just
improving eyelashes and eyebrows. Behind this brand is
Rotterdam's Esther (28), an entrepreneur with a story that
inspires self-acceptance and empowerment. Growing up with the
many challenges of autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder and the hidden
struggles that shaped her life, Esther's journey began from which
Bio Lash was born. “Bio Lash is not just a brand, but a
movement that encourages people to embrace themselves, including
the 'imperfections' that make us unique.

The constant struggle with autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder has hindered Esther's entire life and has
insecure on many levels. Yet she persevered and after years of struggle found a way to protect herself and her
“imperfections.” She learned the positive sides of her neuroses, such as her hyper-focus on one
specific topic, and how to use it correctly: “We all know that little boy in class with
an obsession with trains; then I thought, eyelashes are my trains.” After 8 years of experience as an eyelash stylist
and running her own salon Esther felt the urge to make a change. Start
In 2023 she launched Bio Lash, a brand all about boosting your confidence and embracing your
natural look, with a little touch of glamour. The range is like an ode to your authentic self, from

Welcome to the Bio Lash activity blog! We would like to give you a look behind the scenes of our great events this year. Bio Lash has not been sitting still and has enjoyed participating in various events. This blog offers an exclusive look back at the experiences and highlights of the past months, in which we were able to shine and grow. From valuable encounters to sharing our great products, it was a year full of highlights! First photoshoot Bio Lash November 2023: In November 2023, we organized a special photoshoot for Bio Lash. Since we didn’t have much budget for models at the time, my best friend Larissa, my sister-in-law Nada and I joined forces. Together we created atmospheric images and product photos that beautifully captured the essence of Bio Lash. It was a creative and fun experience, and I am so grateful for their help! So Drops Nano Event April 2024: Networking and Inspiring In April 2024, we, Esther Ras (owner of Bio Lash) and Dominique Gerrits (our amazing social media manager), were full of enthusiasm at the So Drops event of So PR. It was a unique opportunity to share our passion for beauty and skincare with a wide audience of influencers and content creators. What energy there was at the event! Together with Dominique, we handed out our beautiful gift sets, composed of our most beloved products, to some of the most creative people in the beauty world. It was not only a great opportunity to show our products, but also to get valuable feedback and build new connections. The reactions to our gift sets were heartwarming, and it was so inspiring to see how much enthusiasm there was for our products! Moments like these confirm why we do what we do: creating natural, effective beauty products that make everyone happy. Swing, Sip & Shine: Beauty Stand at the Chichi Golf Event August 2024 The summer of 2024 brought us to a very different kind of event, but at least as much fun: the Swing, Sip & Shine Golf Event of Chichi in August 2024. Bio Lash was present with a stylish beauty stand, where we presented our newest products to the participants. The nice thing was that my father came along, because he had helped me with the Bio Lash stands. This golf event offered a perfect setting to talk to the visitors and let them personally get to know our products. It was great to see how enthusiastically the ladies at the event responded to our products. We handed out fun gift sets, filled with essentials that are perfect for a day on the golf course or a relaxing afternoon at home. This experience gave us the opportunity to share our love for beauty in a playful way and at the same time make valuable new contacts in a sporty environment. Back to So Drops Bratz: September 2024 - A Stronger Team Than Ever In September 2024 we were back at the So Drops event . This time it felt like we were even stronger, partly thanks to the support and collaboration with Dominique. Her energy and passion for what we do are unmatched. We are a real team and complement each other perfectly. It was a great day full of interaction with new and existing influencers, where we were once again able to put our Bio Lash products in the spotlight. Dominique and I have again handed out countless gift sets and were able to introduce even more people to the power of our natural care products. These events are not only educational for us, but also a huge boost for our motivation and creativity. We are determined to let Bio Lash grow even further and inspire even more people with our products. Bio Lash in Grazia: A Major Milestone in October 2024 We have some fantastic news to share: Bio Lash was featured in Grazia in October 2024! This is a huge milestone for us that underlines the growth and recognition of our brand in the beauty industry. It’s great to see how all our efforts and the passion we put into our products and events are now being appreciated on such a prestigious platform. Being featured in Grazia confirms that we are on the right track. We look forward to continuing this momentum and introducing even more people to our natural and effective beauty products. This is a moment to celebrate, and we are grateful for all the support we have received on our journey!
